In society at large, evolution is a controversial topic, but even within the scientific community, controversies rage on. Today we’ll talk with Dr. Greg Babbitt, an Assistant Professor of Biology at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He will tell us some of the ways biologists disagree about the role molecules play in natural selection. He’ll also talk about how molecular evolution is an additional proof of evolution. In the second half of our show we’ll talk about the formation of water and organic materials in space.
