Molecular Evolution/Water in Space

In Podcast by Brian Koberlein1 Comment

In society at large, evolution is a controversial topic, but even within the scientific community, controversies rage on. Today we’ll talk with Dr. Greg Babbitt, an Assistant Professor of Biology at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He will tell us some of the ways biologists disagree about the role molecules play in natural selection. He’ll also talk about how molecular evolution is an additional proof of evolution. In the second half of our show we’ll talk about the formation of water and organic materials in space.

  1. good episode 🙂 it would be interesting to interview a mathematician too. I wonder what kind of astronomy questions they would make to you.
