Rumors of My Demise

Since I haven’t blogged in several months, some folk have started to wonder if I’ve fallen into a six foot hole. To everyone who has written me, first of all thanks for checking up on me, and second be assured that all is well.

The reason for my extended silence is due to several things, not the least of which is that things got very busy for me over the summer. Mostly really good things, but things that require a great deal of time and mental focus. So at the end of the day writing a blog post wasn’t on my short list. Another factor was a bit of that old-time burnout. As a great deal of sciencs sites have begun to integrate AI (or more accurately Plagiarized Information Synthesis Systems) into their workflow the nature of my sideblogging work shifted to the point that I quit. And that desire to quit leached into my desire to blog. I’ve often thought about writing a post here and there, but just never got around to it. So here we are.

As it stands, I have plans to start writing again sometime this Fall. But I’m a bit rusty, need to work blogging back into my schedule, and overall try to find some of the joy for blogging I once had.
